Limited Capacity full

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. What better way to connect with the local tech community than a friendly kickball game! Techweek teams up with Play for P.I.N.K and BCRF to raise awareness and have some fun!

Play for P.I.N.K. (Prevention, Immediate Diagnosis, New Technology and Knowledge) is a grassroots organization that uses lifestyle and sporting events to raise funds for breast cancer research. As PFP’s sole beneficiary, BCRF receives 100 percent of all funds raised.

Every year, an estimated 30,000 devoted women, men, children and families organize Play for P.I.N.K. fundraisers in 28 states across the country. In 2015 alone, PFP volunteers raised $4.9 million to fund 19 research projects. To date, Play for P.I.N.K. has raised $43.4 million for lifesaving research through BCRF.
